Amanda first started receiving massages in her early teens after a car accident revealed that she had severe scoliosis. Prior to the accident she couldn't remember a time when she wasn't experiencing back or neck pain. She began receiving chiropractic treatments as well as regular massage treatments and found that it had reduced and eventually eliminated her pain completely.
Upon graduating from high school she knew that she wanted to be in the health care field and began working as a C.N.A. at a nursing home and also provided home health care to local families. At the time nursing seemed like the next step forward but it just didn't quite fit her lifestyle needs. She began speaking with her Massage Therapist about her career options and 2 years after graduating High School she enrolled in her Massage Therapy Program.
12 months later...she graduated and began working at a large health club, then moved onto a chiropractic environment and eventually worked in a few spas within a 5 year span. None of these seem to fit. She had big ideas and didn't want them to be wasted on deaf ears. In 2005 she opened her private massage practice inside of a local chiropractic office. Well it didn't take long before she needed to expand her hours and after 2 years, expand her office.
In November of 2007 she expanded to the spa that you know today as A Premier Massage & Day Spa. She is still plays a very active role in the business as well as manages to see clients 10+ hours a day 6 days a week. In June of 2011 she married her long time boyfriend of 7 ½ years who stood by her with every step she had made along her journey.

During that time she experienced the therapeutic aspects of massage and loves to incorporate those curative elements into every session. She loves to incorporate different modalities together to create a custom massage based on your needs that promotes relaxation, rejuvenation and natural healing.
